Summertime on the Cape can be magical for birdwatching. I was thrilled to disover that there was a family of Plovers down at the far end of the beach by an inlet. This is such a fun time to observe plovers as they are really getting to fledge and you can often see them running all over the place, hopping up and down and flapping their wings. This is moment I just love between a mom plover and her chick.
